CANNABIS ANALYSIS
Tasked with creating a magazine of our choosing, I decided to create a magazine about the racial disparity seen throughout the cannabis industry. Despite legalization in many states, black people still face racial disparity in the cannabis industry. I feel very passionate about this topic and wanted to create a stoner magazine in which that is the main story due to it not being discussed as much as it should be. The magazine itself is named Cannabis Analysis and is focused on catering to marijuana users. With this edition being centered around the holidays, I decided to choose the imagery throughout to be holiday themed and colored. Throughout the publication, there are some collages, my essay about the racial disparity within the cannabis industry, ads, gift list, etc. I wanted the main focus of the magazines to be the story since our justice system is very unjust and is in need of change.
