Cleo's Speakeasy & Lounge Menus

CLEO'S SPEAKEASY

For this project, we had to create a restaurant and design a menu and extra item based on an icon we received. I received a pharaoh icon so I decided to make an Egyptian themed speakeasy due to the 1920s Egyptian revival. I named the restaurant Cleo's to represent Cleopatra and made the logo of her as a 1920s flapper. I focused on using classic Egyptian symbols/motifs throughout my menu and made the cuisine focused on upscale late night food and some classic Egyptian cuisine. The menu itself is hand cutout and locks together- making it very secretive like a speakeasy. For our extra item, I chose to make a dice game where you can roll dice and it will match up to a speciality drink on the drink menu for you to try. I chose to make a game because Egyptians are credited with creating the first board game so I wanted to included that in my restaurant.
